Mari Lwyd is a Welsh folklore creature which manifests as a skeleton horse in a bridal veil. There are fascinating traditions attached to this creature and the traditions continue to the present day!
I made these from supersoft cuddle plush in black with white felt details, All skeletal features are embroidered. I then added a veil of white cotton fabric. Due to safety testing regulations, I offer these in two versions - the first is suitable for children aged 3 and up, and is 'as seen' in the pictures. The second is a version for ages 14 up or display, which has coloured ribbons and bells attached to the veil.
Mari Lwyd is available in 3 sizes. Small is around 8"/20cm, medium is 9"/17cm, large is 11"/23cm and extra large is 14"/35cm.
